Hyderabad: Senior BJP Leader M. Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday alleged that the Congress was trying to blame the BJP on the issue of bifurcation of the state. Addressing the media, the senior BJP leader said Telangana Congress leaders have been telling the people that a separate T-state was granted by Sonia Gandhi while Seemandhra Congress leaders are claiming that due to pressure from the BJP and TD, the state is being divided.

“Why this double talk and double game? The BJP never opposed formation of Telangana and was in its favour since 1998,” he said. Venkaiah said it is the Congress that is creating confusion by failing to control its party MPs over the whole issue. Clarifying the party stand he said the BJP never opposed to do justice to other regions in case the state was divided.

He said people of the country are fed up with Congress led UPA non-performance, inefficient Governance and they are ready to defeat it at an opportune time. "BJP this time will cross the simple majority mark of 272 MPs and Congress will get less than 100 seats, if Congress wants to disapprove the claim better they hold snap polls right now", Venkaiah Naidu challenged.
